SEATTLE DIAMONDS BASEBALL

For over 9 years the Seattle Diamonds Baseball team has been providing opportunities for elite women athletes in the Seattle, WA area to play real baseball!

The Seattle Diamonds are comprised of students, teachers, engineers, business executives, scientists, mothers, young professionals, and more. We are committed to promoting the sport of baseball for women of all ages at the local, regional, and national level. The Seattle Diamond players are active in the community by mentoring local High School athletes and volunteering for the Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs. The Seattle Diamonds also support multiple 5k, half-marathon, and full marathons to raise funds for organ donation awareness and cancer research.

The Seattle Diamonds have high expectations of their athletes! We expect positive attitudes, excellent game attendance, accountability for being on-time and prepared for practice or games, the ability to pay for the expenses associated with playing for an organized team in a competitive league, and a willingness to both mentor incoming players and be receptive to coaching from various staff members.

The Seattle Diamonds strive to balance the recreational and competitive nature of baseball. Players span all ages and all levels of experience, from collegiate softball players to those playing organized ball for the first time. The Seattle Diamonds do compete in national tournaments, and are continuously seeking high caliber athletes to support our traveling roster. We do indoor training and workouts during the winter months.

The Seattle Diamonds team resides within the Teton Division of the Puget Sound Senior Baseball League. The PSSBL league currently features 67 teams playing in a season which begins in May and goes through September. The PSSBL is one of the largest organized baseball leagues in the country and has been operating continuously for over 26 years.

Because the Seattle Diamonds reside in the PSSBL League, please visit the PSSBL website for the cost, tryout information, rules, and general questions: https://pssbl.com/
